1. Have a decent online connection. Cable or DSL preferred.
2. Having a wheel controller helps tremondously.
3. Having a microphone for speaking at the driver's meeting.
4. Allow SUPRS Officials access to your computer via Teamviewer.
NASCAR Heat Installation with NASCAR HEAT Essentials
What is Nascar Heat Essentials? It is a stripped down version of Nascar Heat that enables you to race Nascar Heat Mods (any mod). It is available for free via the Mod Squad (link available thru links page). It is already patched to 1.80.
1. Download Nascar Heat Essentials from Mod Squad.
2. Install Nascar Heat Essentials.
3. Read our rules and fill out the Join form on site by clicking "Join." Send in your donation.
4. After we receive your info and donation; we will give you access to the SUPRS Mod.
5. Download and install the latest paint update.
6. Download and install all the track packs.
7. You should be able to race at this point. If you are having problems dont hesitate to contact us.
8. Download and install Teamspeak for driver's meetings.
9. Download and install Teamviewer for troubleshooting and tech inspections.

NASCAR Heat Installation with CD
1. Buy Nascar Heat. Available on Ebay or in the bargain bins at a local store for a small price.
2. Place the CD in the your CD-Drive.
3. A screen may show up asking you if you wish to Install Nascar Heat. If not.....then open up My Computer and you will see the disk there. Double-Click to start the sequence to install.
4. Install Nascar Heat. Be sure it is a FULL install to your C:/ hard disk. The default location is therefore C:/Program Files/Hasbro Interactive/NASCAR Heat
5. After install, play the game with stock cars and run a few practice laps anywhere. The reason you run the game is that this process adds additional files to your Windows Temp areas.
6. Install patch 1.80 . Click this link HERE to download the patch. Recommend you save the download to your desktop. Then double-click to install.
7. Go to Nascar Heat folder. Do this by clicking "My Computer" then double-click "C-Drive" then double-click "Program Files" folder, then double-click "Hasbro Interactive" folder, then double-click "NASCAR Heat" folder. Address is C:/Program Files/Hasbro Interactive/NASCAR Heat/
Inside this folder is a folder named "data". RENAME this folder to "run". No capitals.
8. Install the NO-CD Patch. Click the link HERE to download the patch. Simply download to your desktop and double-click to install.
9. Remove the CD from the CD-Drive. Play the game without the CD to ensure that we are still working. Keep in mind that when you start the game without the CD...you will need to double-click the "NHeat.exe" inside you Nascar Heat folder. (C:/Program Files/Hasbro Interactive/NASCAR Heat/NHeat.exe ). When you click this a small screen will appear stating that "Nascar Heat is not designed for Windows 2000. Continue?" ....click yes and the game should run. If the game does not run ...then we need to back-track within these instructions and ensure we followed them or did not miss anything.
11. If if everything is working, Simply go to the JOIN Page to fill out an application/donation to join us and receive the mod and additional help if needed.
12. Download and install Teamspeak for driver's meetings.
13. Download and install Teamviewer for troubleshooting and tech inspections.

Team Speak Help:
1. Download Teamspeak client program HERE
2. Install this package by double-clicking its icon.
3. Once it is installed, Start the Teamspeak application.
4. Now there is 1 way to connect to SUPRS Teamspeak.
a.) Option2 ...Click "Connection" on the top left of application.
1. A menu opens...scroll to "Connect".
2. Now the there is nothing but a blank screen.
3. Right Click "Servers" in the Local Address Book Tab... Click the text to "Add Server".
4. Name the server SUPRS
5. Fill in information on the right
a.) Server Address: 74.53.186.162:8877 b.) Nickname: (Your Racin Name followed by your registered number)
c.) Click Anonymous button for first time users.
d.) No other info is required....Click Connect box at the bottom.
6. Once you are in teamspeak....ask a series official to allow you to register with the teamspeak server. Then next time you log-in, click "Registered" button under your name and fill out your registered name and pass....and click connect.
Connecting with SUPRS for Online Racing.
1. Make sure you have any extra programs running in the background of Windows are turned off. ctrl-alt-del pressed same time will tell ya what "applications" are running. You probably wanna turn-off your chat programs like YIM and AIM. Any screen savers. Always good to use a spyware remover too before running... like Adaware. "End-it-All" is also a good program to let you know whats running in the background. If you feel good about your connection, you could probably keep TeamSpeak running.
2. Know the the IP before you start the mod. The IP for our game server is located in the forums under "Announcements"
3. Start the mod. Click the SUPRS.exe
4. Game Screen menu
-Type your name in the lower right corner followed by your registered number.
-Click Multi-Player.
5. Select your name. If you dont have a name listed ...select a rookie car. The league director should have assigned you a rookie car.
6. Select LAN connection setting and click FIND. Enter the IP in the window. (ex...208.101.32.45) The SUPRS IP for connecting to our race server is located in the "Announcements" forum.
7. You should then connect. With a line at the top that says SUPRS server. Click Connect in the lower right to enter our server to race.
Tips for making your computer ready for online racing. Connection Tips:
1. Turn off screen savers.
2. Turn off Anti-virus and Zone Alarm type software.
3. Allow Fire Wall to let Nascar Heat to bypass.
4. Use End-It-All to turn off and programs that you might not know are running in the background.
5. Use AdaAware to remove malicious spyware.
6. Defrag your hard drives at least once a month.
7. Remove or move all those icons on your desktop.
8. Recommend removing or turning off wall paper.
9. Download the latest drivers for your video card. Windows updates also help.
10. Clean out the dust inside your computer.
11. Recommended that you turn-off Auto-Update Features for Windows or other like programs.
12. Rebooting also helps with your connection.
